Pacifico Dental Care was started in Bangor, Pennsylvania by Dr. Larry Pacifico 67 years ago.

Since 1958, we have been serving patients with comprehensive dental care from all over the Lehigh Valley. We offer the highest quality of comfortable and affordable care and our entire team is focused on making your dental visits quick, easy, and painless.

Marking over 67 years in practice, we are excited continue serving patients at our locations in Bangor and Forks Township.

Our doctors at Pacifico Dental Care provide a variety of options to best fit your dental needs and priorities.

All of our experienced doctors care deeply about patient comfort and are pleased to offer a variety of IV and oral sedation options, as well as nitrous (laughing gas), to ensure that your dental visit is relaxing.

Our doctors are experienced in providing specialized orthodontic care and braces, dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, and comprehensive general dentistry procedures.

Meet The Doctors

Dr. Michael Pacifico

Dr. Michael Pacifico began his dental career in 1979, working beside his father, Dr. Larry.

Since then, he has maintained a focus on delivering high-quality dental care in a gentle, caring environment. Dr. Mike is well-studied in all phases of dentistry, including orthodontics, periodontics, prosthetics, restorative, and sedation dentistry.

He is a graduate of Lafayette College and Fairleigh Dickinson Dental School. Dr. Mike enjoys reading and spending time with his family.

Dr. Lauren Pacifico

Dr. Lauren Pacifico, the 3rd generation of Dr. Pacificos, joined Pacifico Dental Care in May 2015. She is following in the footsteps of her grandfather, Dr. Larry Pacifico DDS, and her father, Dr. Michael Pacifico DMD.

Dr. Lauren graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. She previously graduated Cum Laude from Lafayette College, where she double majored in Business & Economics and French.

I am proud to serve the communities that my grandfather and father have served since 1958. I'm committed to providing the highest standard of care for which my family's practice is known. I'm looking forward to seeing you and your family during your next visit!

When she is not in the office, Dr. Lauren enjoys cooking, reading, snowboarding, art, and traveling with her husband Philip.

Dr. Rachel Knauss

Dr. Rachel Knauss joined the team in July 2024.

Dr. Rachel earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Touro College of Dental Medicine after completing her undergraduate studies in Biology at Bloomsburg University. Following dental school, she further refined her skills through a General Practice Residency at the VA of New Jersey.

Outside the office, Dr. Rachel enjoys caring for her many plants, spending time at the beach, and discovering new local restaurants with her husband, Logan.

Dr. Matthew Stella

Dr. Matthew Stella joined Pacifico Dental Care in August 2024.

Dr. Matt grew up in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He earned his undergraduate degree in Music from NYU before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Temple University, where he graduated in the top 3% of his class in 2019. Dr. Matt further honed his skills during his residency at Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx, gaining extensive experience in advanced dental procedures.

Outside of dentistry, he enjoys playing classical piano and staying active on the tennis court.

Dr. Robert Spielman

Dr. Robert Spielman joined the team in November 2024.

Originally from Bergen County, NJ, Dr. Rob took a unique path to dental school, beginning his career as an attorney before discovering his passion for dentistry. He earned both his undergraduate and dental degrees from NYU and is currently completing a specialty residency in orthodontics.

Beyond practicing dentistry, Dr. Rob enjoys cooking, listening to podcasts, and tackling car and home improvement projects. Most of all, he loves spending time with his wife and their dog, Ralphie.

Dr. Markus Hill

Dr. Markus Hill has been providing Oral Surgery services in our offices since October 2021.

He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2011. While in dental school, he also completed a Masters of Higher Education Management.

After dental school, Dr. Markus completed a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. Following his residency, Dr. Markus served as an oral surgeon for the Navy in Guam and San Diego. He has been a staff attending teaching residents for the past 6 years.

Dr. Markus moved back to Pennsylvania in 2019 after a total of eight years with the Navy to be near family. He maintains hospital, operating room, and trauma privileges at Lehigh Valley Health Network, and provides full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Markus strives to provide compassionate, honest, quality care that is convenient for you.

When Dr. Markus is not working, he enjoys fishing, scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with his wife, two children, and Labrador Retrievers.

Management Team

Philip

Philip joined the team in May 2015 and is Dr. Lauren's husband. He works on developing every aspect of the practice and is focused on continued growth to better serve our communities. His interests include exploring new destinations with Dr. Lauren, training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and teaching personal finance. He also owns KouryWeb, a software development company that creates bespoke software for national companies and non-profits.

Leonard Operations Director

Leonard joined the team in February 2017 and has served as Operations Director since 2022. He is responsible for developing and overseeing all day-to-day activities in both locations. He enjoys listening to audiobooks, watching movies, writing stories, cooking and dinner dates with his wife as well as spending time with his family.

Lauren Administrative Director

Lauren joined the team in February 2023. She graduated from Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts and has her Bachelor’s degree in Painting from Kutztown University. Lauren enjoys working on oil paintings, playing with her cats, and cooking with her husband.

Dental Hygienists

Trina

Trina joined PDC in 1979. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. She's focused on cultivating a comfortable and high-quality experience that makes all of our patients feel like family. She enjoys practicing yoga, reading spy novels, dining out, and spending time with her family.

Christina Team Leader

Christina joined the team in June 2016. She earned her hygiene degree from Northampton Community College in 2009. She's an avid New York Giants fan and in her free time she loves traveling, kayaking, and spending time with her dogs.

Stephanie

Steph joined the team in June 2016. She earned her hygiene degree from Northampton Community College. She's a foodie who enjoys spending time with her children and her friends. She also loves the outdoors and likes to go hiking, camping, and kayaking.

Ella

Ella joined the team in November 2019. She earned her hygiene degree from Northampton Community College and also has a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. In her free time she enjoys biking, reading, gardening, exploring new places, watching movies, and spending time with her family.

Michelle

Michelle joined the team in October 2022 after earning her hygiene degree from Northampton Community College. When she is not in the office she enjoys spending time with her three children. She also loves camping, going to the beach, traveling, and enjoys frequent visits to Sedona, AZ.

Selina

Selina joined the Hygiene Team in April 2024. She earned her hygiene degree from Northampton Community College in 2014. She loves vacationing in Seaside Park with her daughter. She enjoys long walks on the beach, kayaking in the Poconos and cuddling up with her dogs Max & Marley and her cat Maverick.

Dental Assistants

Patty Team Leader

Patty joined the team in June 2022. She has over 23 years of experience as an orthodontic assistant in the Lehigh Valley area and has expanded her knowledge to cover all areas of general dentistry with us. She loves to travel and spend time with family.

Tanya

Tanya joined the team in October 2022. She has over 25 years of experience as a dental assistant. She is fluent in Spanish and loves spending time with daughters, family, and friends. She enjoys helping others, taking her dog Bowie on nature walks, and working on her health and fitness goals.

Ashley

Ashley joined the team in September 2023. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health & Physical Education and worked in orthodontics for 15 years prior to joining PDC. She enjoys being with her family, gardening, and running.

Kaylie

Kaylie joined the team in April 2024. She loves to cook, explore local restaurants, and hopes to travel to Greece someday. She and her boyfriend love the beach and have a family of fish at home named Salt, Pepper, and Michael Scott.

Maddie

Maddie joined the team in July 2024. She graduated from Keystone College with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts. She enjoys painting, hiking the local trails, and biking with her son, Oscar. She also loves cooking and specializes in vegan ice cream for her business, De Novo Creamery.

Anyssa

Anyssa joined the team in September 2024. She loves spending her free time at home cuddled up with her dog, Cairo. Anyssa likes to plan trips with friends to new cities every year and her favorite place she's visited is Chicago.

Yusuf

Yusuf joined the team in October 2024. He enjoys playing pickup basketball with friends and his favorite sports teams are the Lakers and Ravens. He loves trying new restaurants around Easton and visiting the Easton Public Market. He hopes to travel to Jamaica to visit family and enjoy the local cuisine.

Front Desk Team

Hannah Team Leader

Hannah joined the team in December 2021. She looks forward to the quarterly trips she takes to her family cabin in Potter County. Hannah also enjoys cooking, spending quality time with her loved ones, listening to music, and photography.

Jiselle Team Leader

Jiselle joined the team in September 2022. She graduated from Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts and has her associates degree in psychology from NCC. In her free time she enjoys teaching figure skating, reading, and making herself laugh.

Lia

Lia joined the team in November 2023. She loves to travel and has been to 47 states so far and wants to complete all 50 within the next 10 years. Lia also enjoys rock climbing, listening to music, and eating really good food.

Julie

Julie joined our team in April 2024. She moved from Maryland to the Lehigh Valley in 2020. She loves Ultimate Frisbee, hiking, and running 5k's. Every year, she participates in the Ultimate Frisbee tournament in Wildwood, NJ and NYC ComicCon.

Lani

Lani joined the team in May 2024. She loves traveling and enjoys vacationing with her family in Key West. She enjoys singing and some of her favorite songs are from the musical Sweeney Todd. She enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, playing video games, and trying out local restaurants.

Brielle

Brielle joined the team in September 2024. She is passionate about her work with cats at a animal welfare society. She loves exploring thrift stores, watching horror movies, and has a monthly book club with her friends. She takes Hangul language courses and wants to travel to Seoul.

Bayleigh

Bayleigh joined the team in October 2024. She grew up in Colorado and just moved to the Lehigh Valley in early Autumn 2024. She is a pastel artist and enjoys botanical drawings. She loves spending quality time with friends, family, and her bunny, Milo.

Lydia

Lydia joined the team in February 2025. Lydia loves lifting weights and spending time with her dogs, Jax and Diesel. She became a licensed real estate agent in 2023, loves visiting her family in Greece every summer, and relaxing on the beach.

Finance Team

Cameron Finance Director

Cameron joined the team in May 2019. When he is not working he enjoys spending time with his family or teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Dziana Specialist Coordinator

Dziana joined the team in January 2022. When she is not working she enjoys spending her time cooking, frequenting local restaurants, taking walks, and spending time with her cat.

LaNayah

LaNayah joined the team in July 2021. She enjoys art and is an avid coffee enthusiast. She grew up in New Jersey and enjoys spending time outdoors as well as time with her two cats, George and Leo. She also enjoys cooking, reading, and design, and always knows how to make the team laugh.
